Appointments & Cancellation Policy
Because Mya’s Pet Salon is a small, owner-operated business, each grooming appointment is reserved specifically for your dog. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are difficult to fill and directly impact our ability to serve other local clients.
To keep our schedule fair and consistent for everyone:
Appointments canceled the day of, the night before, or missed without notice are subject to a 100% grooming fee.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may require prepayment to book future appointments.
By keeping your scheduled appointment, you help us continue providing calm, one-on-one care for every dog. We truly appreciate your understanding and support of our small business.
Vaccination & Flea Prevention Policy
Vaccination Requirements
For the health and safety of all pets in our care, proof of current vaccinations is required prior to your grooming appointment.
All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccines:

Rabies

DHPP (Distemper/Parvo)

Bordetella
Appointments cannot proceed if vaccination records are missing, expired, or not provided in advance.

Flea Prevention Policy
For the comfort and safety of all pets:

Dogs must arrive flea-free.
If fleas are discovered during grooming:

A $50 flea handling fee will be applied

Grooming services may be adjusted or stopped if necessary
This policy helps prevent the spread of fleas within the salon and ensures a clean, safe space for every dog.

Important Note
We kindly ask that all vaccination records and questions be addressed before your scheduled appointment.

Dogs that arrive without required vaccinations or flea prevention may be turned away and may still be subject to cancellation fees per our appointment policy.
